The Pre-Apprenticeship HR Generalist Training Program offered by EverythingHR Talent Development Institute is a comprehensive, workforce-ready program designed to prepare individuals to successfully enter and excel in a Human Resources Generalist Registered Apprenticeship Program.

This program provides a strong foundation in core HR competencies while developing practical, real-world skills that can be immediately applied in the workplace. Participants will engage in 64 hours of structured technical instruction, covering essential areas such as employee relations, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, and HR operations.

Through a blend of instruction, case studies, and applied learning, participants will build the confidence and capability needed to transition into HR roles or continue into a registered apprenticeship pathway. Demonstrated competencies and completed training hours may be eligible to count toward Registered Apprenticeship requirements, accelerating career progression.

This program is designed to be accessible and inclusive—participants are not required to be currently employed to enroll—making it an ideal entry point for career changers, emerging professionals, and individuals seeking structured pathways into Human Resources.

Pre-Apprenticeship → Employment → Registered Apprenticeship → Certification

Upon completion of this program:

  • Participants are prepared for HR roles

  • Once employed, training hours may be transferred into the U.S. Department of Labor Registered Apprenticeship Program

  • Apprentices complete a 2-semester program with 166+ hours of technical instruction and on-the-job training

  • Participants are prepared to pursue SHRM and HRCI certifications
