SUMMARY:Unconscious Bias
DESCRIPTION:Unconscious or implicit bias is pervasive and universal- everyone has some form of unconscious bias. Unconscious bias may not result in overt or deliberate action\, but it still informs decision-making processes and behaviors. The impact from unconscious bias can be a barrier to organizational effectiveness. \nThis course is designed to illustrate biases that an individual may hold and how those may influence their behavior and attitudes\, and thus decision making\, despite the individual not being aware of the biases. SUMMARY:Leadership and Influence

SUMMARY:21st Century Aspiring Supervisor Training II
DESCRIPTION:Effective 21st Century employee training supports shortened learning curves\, increased production rates\, increased production quality standards\, and enhanced profitability. The objective of this training is to prepare employees to move from worker to leader\, build fundamental job-required skills\, work better with others\, and develop attitudes to support business processes. \nSome employees have never had any formal training; therefore\, they do not understand the importance of efficient business management systems. \nThe judgment of all employees is important – they must use it to make decisions that could significantly impact the business as a whole as well as their team or department. This course will not only get them engaged but will inspire them to become more productive members of the team. \nLearning Objectives: \n\nRecall basic business management terminology\nDescribe the difference between active listening and listening to respond\nIdentify the value of teamwork\nRecognize external and internal customers\nDemonstrate how to move from worker to leader\nEmploy conflict resolution management\n\nHow Employees Will Benefit: \n\nDevelop basic competencies in oral and written communication\nDevelop problem-solving and leadership skills\nObtain critical thinking skills\nDescribe the importance of self-direction\, flexibility\, customer service\, and decisiveness\nRecognize the skills needed to become an effective manager or leader\n\nWho Should Attend: \n\nFor those who may be Gen Z or Millennial or need to communicate with them\n\nProgram duration: 40 hours \nTime: 8am-5pm \n21st Century Aspiring Supervisor Training II
