(Rochester Hills, Mich. – June 20, 2024) – The EverythingHR Talent Development Institute recently earned accreditation from IACET, allowing it to offer continuing education unit credits (CEUs) for its professional development and training events.
The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) is a globally recognized standard in adult education and training that is widely regarded as the gold standard in professional training accreditations. To earn IACET Accredited Provider status, recipients undergo a rigorous assessment of their organization’s structure and capacity, instructional design, educational methods, learner support, administration, and data security.
For clients of EverythingHR Talent Development Institute who are industry professionals, IACET accreditation means that the training they receive will likely qualify for annual Continuing Education and Training (CE/T) requirements for certifications, state licenses, or professional memberships.
“We’re very pleased to earn IACET Accredited Provider status,” said Felicia G. Harris, founder and CEO of the EverythingHR family of companies, which includes the EverythingHR Talent Development Institute as well as EverythingHR, EverythingHR Financial Services and EverythingHR PEO. “Having IACET accreditation will make us much nimbler in responding to the needs of our clients, allowing us to create or customize courses for a specific organization more easily. In the past, we worked with colleges and universities to offer Continuing Education and Training Unit Credits, but now we can do so without having to coordinate with partners on our course offerings or schedules.”
EverythingHR Talent Development Institute is one of only about a dozen organizations in Michigan to achieve IACET Accredited Provider status. Other major providers include universities, colleges and the City of Detroit, the state’s largest city. Unlike trade-specific learning centers, EverythingHR offers hundreds of courses across a wide array of industries:
- Manufacturing and Engineering (more than 1,500 hours of courses), including Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Green Belt, Program Management, and Design of Experiment;
- Small Business Management (more than 700 hours of courses), including Basic Business Management, HR for SMB (Business Owners only), Budgets and Financial Reports;
- HR and Other Certification Courses such as HRCI and SHRM Certification Prep, PMP and CAMP, and Everything DiSC;
- Leadership Development (more than 700 hours of courses), including 21st Century Aspiring Supervisor, Middle Manager Leadership, and Visionary Leaders;
- Financially-focused courses for Certified Financial Planner (CFPs) and Certified Public Accountants (CPAs).
Since 2012, EverythingHR Talent Development Institute has provided innovative training programs for businesses and organizations of varied sizes and industries, including automotive, industrial engineering, manufacturing, construction, health care, food and beverage, government, nonprofit, property maintenance, retail, banking and finance, transportation and human resources. EverythingHR Talent Development Institute offers classroom courses, e-learning, workshops, training, Booth Company Certified Task Cycle® coaching and CPP® certified assessments.
In 2022 the EverythingHR Talent Development Institute significantly expanded its physical footprint, moving from the EverythingHR headquarters’ second-floor suite and off-site classrooms into a newly constructed training center on the first floor of 1055 South Blvd E. Ste 150. The EDTI Training Center comfortably seats 25 training participants and is equipped with state-of-the-art video and audio systems for simultaneous live and remote training. Three smaller rooms are available for breakout sessions, proctored exams, or smaller groups. Each room is equipped for video conferencing.
